 1. What Is Activity-Based Learning?

  • Activity-Based Learning (ABL) is an approach where students learn through play, exploration, and hands-on tasks. Instead of just reading or listening, they do—and that helps them understand better and remember longer.

 

2. How We Use ABL at Westfield

  • UKG–Grade 2:

    • Story-based learning

    • Art-integrated subjects

    • Toys, puzzles, and manipulatives for math & language

    • Show and Tell, nature walks, role plays
